Employee Volunteering

If your organisation or company is looking to set up an employee volunteering programme; either as a group challenge or for individual employees, the Centre may be able to help you with this by:

• Providing you with local group contact details - this will give you a chance to talk to local charities and voluntary groups about how you might help them.

• Set up a link with Business in the Community, this organisation exists to support links between the private and voluntary sector. They will support you every step of the way with company volunteering programmes.

• Including an article in the PCVS monthly newsletter to advertise your company’s interest in getting involved.

• Directing you to national resources

• Arrange to display information about local volunteering opportunities at your company premises - either in the ‘staff rest areas’ or main reception.
