Fuel Poverty Frontline Worker Training
Learn more about fuel poverty, energy advice in England, and how you can support your service users and communities.
Henry the Energy and Communities Project Manager at PECT is conducting free Frontline Worker Training to support those working with vulnerable and low income households in the East of England.
We are able to deliver this training for free free, thanks to funding from Citizens Advice. The cost of living crisis is affecting lots of people and the end of the winter fuel payment could leave a lot of vulnerable people with worries about energy prices rising.
This training will equip FWs with the knowledge needed to make a difference in the lives of those struggling to afford adequate heating and energy.
They will learn how to identify/support those affected by fuel poverty. I will provide practical tips and resources to help you effectively address this critical issue.

It’s important we can all recognise the signs of fuel poverty and feel confident pointing our communities in the right direction, so please share with your teams and other organisations you think might benefit from this training.
